Golden Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. pecan pieces
    pie crust (9-inch), unbaked (deep dish)
Preparation
    Mix eggs with sugar; mix well. Add salt, vanilla, cornstarch, melted butter and corn syrup.
    Mix well. Stir in pecan pieces or make a decorative top with halves.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce to 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Bake until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Refrigerate.
    Freezes well.
