Brown Edge Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Cream butter with sugar.
    Add egg and milk.
    Mix wet and dry ingredients; stir in vanilla.
    Shape into walnut shaped balls. Space on a pan and flatten with a fork dipped in cold water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes, until edges are tan, not brown!
