Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 well-beaten egg
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Blend first 3 ingredients until creamy.
Soften cream cheese slightly.
Beat into the butter mixture with milk and vanilla. Beat in remaining ingredients.
