Ingredients

1/2 c. uncooked rice (long cooking)
4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Bake, uncovered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, until rice is tender.
Stir several times during the first hour of baking.
