Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potato
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/3 c. bourbon whiskey (gives a mellow taste)
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in their skins until tender.
    Cool, peel and mash.
    Beat in eggs, sugar and remaining ingredients.
    Pour into 9-inch unbaked pastry shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve warm with cream.
    Can be doubled for 2 pies (except bourbon; use 1/2 cup).
