Raisin Sauce For Baked Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. grape jelly
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. cold water
Preparation
    Bring sugar and water to boil in a 1-quart saucepan.
    Add raisins, butter, vinegar, spices and jelly.
    Stir over low heat until jelly is dissolved.
    Dissolve cornstarch in water.
    Add to sauce and heat until raisins are plump and sauce begins to thicken. Serve warm with holiday baked ham.
