Butternut Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    2/3 c. sugar (1/2 brown, 1/2 granulated)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. thick squash, cooked and pureed
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix sugar and spices together.
    Mix into squash.
    Add eggs and milk.
    Pour into pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes and 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    (Squash is better if steamed instead of cooked in water.)
