Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. regular oats
1 c. crushed corn flakes
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream together butter and sugars; add egg.
Mix well.
Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, except pecans.
Mix until combined.
Stir in pecans.
Form dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
Do not overcook.
Allow to cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
Each cookie has 113 calories.
