Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. fruit cocktail
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and eggs.
    Add 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon soda. Stir in 2 cups fruit cocktail, until well blended.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts on top of batter.
    Bake 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
