Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    3 well beaten eggs
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Stir in dates and walnuts.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. While warm, cut in bars.
    Cool.
    Remove from pan. Roll in sifted powdered sugar.
    Makes 3 dozen.
