Pepper Steak(Chinese) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 lb. beef, cut into thin strips (sirloin or rib)
    1 large green pepper, cut into thin strips
    2 scallions, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. diagonally sliced celery
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. hot red pepper sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    In
    a
    large skillet, heat oil.
    Add beef and cook over high heat, stirring frequently until browned, about 5 minutes. Add pepper,
    onion and celery.\tCook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Reduce
    heat;\tstir in molasses, soy sauce, lemon juice,
    pepper
    sauce
    and\tseasonings.
    Blend water and cornstarch;
    quickly
    stir\tinto
    beef
    mixture.
    Cover.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve with hot fluffy rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
