Hungarian Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 lb. chicken pieces
1 c. chicken stock or 1 chicken bouillon cube in 1 c. boiling water
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

In a large skillet, cook onion in melted Crisco until soft but not brown.
Stir in salt, paprika and pepper, then brown the chicken pieces on all sides.
Add chicken stock or bouillon. Cover and simmer for 50 to 60 minutes, until chicken is tender. Put chicken on a serving platter and keep hot.
Stir combined sour cream and flour into mixture in skillet.
Cook and stir until this sauce comes to a boil; pour over chicken.
Serve with noodles or rice.
