Microwave Munching Cashew Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. unsalted cashews
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart glass bowl, put sugar and corn syrup.
    Cook on High for 5 minutes, then add cashews and cook on High for 3 minutes.
    Next, add butter and vanilla.
    Cook on High for another 2 minutes.
    Add soda and quickly stir.
    Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
    When cool, break into small pieces and store in airtight containers.
