Ingredients

2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder or cornstarch
1 c. water
1/2 c. dates, pitted
1 c. orange juice
Preparation

Dissolve
arrowroot in 1/4 cup water.
Pour into saucepan with
remaining
water and dates.
Simmer until liquid is thick and clear and dates are soft.
Pour into blender.
Blend smooth. Add juice and blend slightly.
Serve.
Makes 2 cups.
