Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of paprika
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1 bay leaf
    2 cans kidney beans (dark red), drained
Preparation
    Brown onions and green pepper in small amount of fat.
    Add ground beef.
    Brown and then pour off excess fat.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cover.
    Simmer for at least 1 1/2 hours.
