Pecan Dainties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. pecans, ground
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until light and add remaining ingredients, except pecan halves.
    Mix well and chill until firm. Shape into 3/4-inch balls. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheets and top each with a pecan half.
    Bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Yields 6 to 8 dozen.
