Winter Cabbage And Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 medium white onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 lb. lean ground chuck
    1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 Tbsp. fresh chopped oregano
    2 c. cooked kidney beans or 1 (16 oz.) can
    1/2 head cabbage, sliced
    1 (28 oz.) can diced, chopped tomatoes
    5 c. beef stock or use bouillon
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Preparation
    In a large stock pot or Dutch oven, saute onion and celery in oil until soft.
    Add ground chuck and brown.
    Add remainder of ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Serves 6 to 8.
