Fried Catfish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 5 lb. catfish, cleaned
    salt
    2 c. corn meal
    2 1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut the fish into steaks or slice for frying.
    Salt and bread the fish in
    the meal.
    In a frypan with the cooking oil hot, place the fish
    and
    fry 8 to 10 minutes, turning to make sure of an
    even
    brown.
    Depending
    on
    the
    thickness of the fish, more or less cooking time may be needed.
