Cherry Patch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. Crisco (I prefer the butter-flavor Crisco)
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix the first 6 ingredients together and then add to that mixture, the last 3 ingredients.
    Take 2/3 of mixture and press on cookie sheet, slightly greased.
    Spread 2 cans of cherry pie filling on top.
    Cut other 1/3 of mixture (roll out first) into strips.
    Lay strips onto pie filling.
    Bake 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0.
