Hamburger Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can green beans, drained
    5 or 6 medium potatoes, peeled
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    milk
    margarine
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion together; drain off fat.
    Stir in green beans and soup.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Meantime, boil or steam potatoes until tender; drain and mash.
    Add milk and margarine; add egg, mixing well.
    Put meat mixture in casserole dish and layer potato mixture next, then sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
