Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    2 c. grated cheese
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 c. eggs (2 or 3 eggs)
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cream butter until soft.
    Add grated cheese. Sift flour with dry ingredients and add to butter and cheese mixture.
    Beat eggs until light. Add water.
    Add to flour mixture to make stiff dough. Chill.
    Roll 1/4-inch in thickness. Cut in strips 4-inches long and 1/4-inch in width.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Makes 6 dozen.
