Woodford Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat.
    Dissolve soda in milk.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Blend in jam.
    Bake in greased 9 x 12-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
