Banana Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pie shell, baked
1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c scalded milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 large banana, sliced
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, salt and egg yolks.
Pour on scalded milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Cook over medium heat in heavy pan, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Cool and add lemon juice and banana.
Chill thoroughly.
Spoon into pie shell and cover with meringue.
Bake until lightly browned in 450\u00b0 oven for about 3 to 4 minutes.
