Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    4 c. crumbled dry bread
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine milk and bread crumbs in a large bowl and allow to soak for 5 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended.
    Pour into a buttered 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 45 minutes, until firm in center and a golden brown.
    Cool in the pan and cut into squares.
    May be served plain or with a sauce as a dessert.
    Serves 8 to 10.
