Mickey Rooney'S Salmon Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pink salmon
    6 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 medium dill pickle, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 small stalk celery, chopped
    1 large green cabbage leaf, grated
    1 c. small elbow macaroni, cooked
    1/4 c. diced Cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. croutons
    1 tsp. capers
    1 small can sweet petite peas
    lettuce leaves
    paprika
Preparation
    In small bowl, mix salmon and mayonnaise together, then mash. In separate bowl mix pickle, onion, celery and cabbage leaf.
    In large bowl mix macaroni and Cheddar cheese.
    Add salmon mixture and pickle mixture to macaroni.
    Add salt, pepper, vinegar, croutons and capers.
    Mix well.
    Add peas.
    Chill mixture in refrigerator for 1 hour.
    Line 4 separate plates with lettuce. Mound mixture on lettuce.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Serve.
