Low-Fat Cheese And Basil Biscuits - cooking recipe

1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. white cornmeal
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. unsalted margarine
1/2 c. skim milk
1/4 c. (1 oz.) shredded, reduced-fat, sharp Cheddar cheese
2 1/2 Tbsp. chopped, fresh basil
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine milk, cheese and basil; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
