Sue'S Easy Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 c. warm water
    6 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water (add a little honey to water).
    Stir in 2 cups flour, salt, sugar and shortening.
    Add egg.
    Beat batter; add remaining flour and mix with a spoon.
    Knead until smooth.
    Let rise, loosely covered, 25 minutes or until doubled in size.
    Shape as desired.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 20 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.
