Ingredients

8 medium sliced carrots (1/2 inch slices)
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. water
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. chopped pecans or almonds (optional)
Preparation

Place
carrots\tin
1
quart casserole dish.
Add brown sugar and
butter.
Microwave on High for 5 minutes, covered. Stir and recover
and cook additional 5 minutes on High.
Mix water and cornstarch.
Stir in cornstarch and nuts.
Microwave on High until
carrot
mixture has thickened, 3 to 4 minutes. Serves 4.
