Noodles Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shredded carrot
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 1/4 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    4 c. wide egg noodles
    1 c. chopped broccoli
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet, cook carrot and onion in margarine over medium heat about 3 minutes; stir occasionally.
    Add water, soup, mushrooms and pepper; stir well and bring to a boil.
    Add noodles and return to slow boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
    Add broccoli and continue to cook 10 more minutes or until broccoli and noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
