Mother'S Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo or butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour (2 3/4 c., if presifted)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until light.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat eggs in, one at a time.
    Add sifted flour with soda and cream of tartar.
    Mix well; roll into small balls.
    Drop balls into sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    These flatten out and crinkle.
