Cheese And Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 saltine crackers, rolled fine
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    2 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine cracker crumbs and butter; press into 9-inch pie plate.
    Add onion rings, sauteed in butter until limp, and cover with grated cheese.
