Mother'S Sliced Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. sliced boiled sweet potatoes
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sherry or grape wine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Line pan with pastry.
    Then alternate potatoes with sugar, spice, lemon juice and butter.
    Pour the wine over this.
    Cover with pastry shell and bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Serve while warm.
