Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Put first four ingredients into a small mixing bowl and beat until foamy.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff but not dry.
    Add vanilla. Spread on top of pie filling, being careful to spread to crust and seal edges. Bake at 350\u00b0 until meringue is a golden brown.
