Pickle Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt (canning salt)
    4 tsp. celery seed
    4 tsp. turmeric
    3/4 tsp. mustard seed
    cucumbers
Preparation
    Cut cucumbers and pour boiling water over them.
    Let stand for 5 to 6 hours.
    Mix ingredients in saucepan and boil 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers that are packed tight in cans.
    Boil in cans for 5 minutes to seal.
    Makes about 6 pints.
