Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 lb. crystallized cherries
    6 slices crystallized pineapple
    2 c. nuts
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Grease and flour pan.
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs and flour; beat and add fruit and nuts.
    Spread 1 inch thick.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
