Ingredients

4 c. skim milk
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1/4 c. sugar or more if desired
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. raisins
ground nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
In a lightly greased 2-quart casserole, combine milk, rice, sugar and salt.
Bake, uncovered, for two hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
Add raisins during the last 30 minutes of baking.
Stir in surface crust.
Upon standing, rice will absorb milk remaining in casserole.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
