German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head shredded cabbage
    1 thin-sliced onion
    1 thin-sliced green pepper
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    3/4 c. oil
    7/8 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Heat cup of vinegar with 7/8 cup sugar until sugar dissolves. Cool.
    Pour 3/4 cup oil over cabbage, onion, green pepper, sugar, salt, celery and mustard; mix well.
    Stir in vinegar/sugar dressing; mix well and refrigerate overnight.
