Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream shortening and peanut butter in bowl.
Add sugars.
Mix well.
Add eggs.
Sift dry ingredients and mix in batter.
Chill in refrigerator.
Shape into balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly with fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
Yields 6 dozen.
