Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. butter (do not substitute)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients; beat well with a heavy-duty mixer. Gradually add sugar; beat until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Add eggs one at a time.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Add flour to creamed mixture; beat well.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour batter into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool completely.
    Yield:
    1 (10-inch) cake.
