Pork Chops And Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork chops, salted and peppered to taste
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    4 c. breadcrumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. sage
    2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
Preparation
    Melt shortening in skillet.
    Brown pork chops on both sides. Combine all ingredients together; drain all grease from pork chops.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Add enough hot water to make mixture moist.
    Spread over pork chops.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
