Grandma'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and well beaten egg.
    Add flavoring. Add flour to the mixture a little at a time, alternating with the milk until all are in.
    Roll to 1/8-inch thick, cut into cakes and bake in moderate oven until lightly browned.
