Aunt Thelma'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat butter, Crisco, sugar, lemon and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour, baking soda, salt and milk (add flour half at a time until mixed well).
    Beat all ingredients until creamy.
    Pour in large greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
