Sweet Potato Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb. each) cans whole sweet potatoes, drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. light raisins
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1 1/2 tsp. shredded orange peel
    2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Arrange potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Place remaining ingredients, except nuts, in saucepan. Cook 2 to 4 minutes until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 8 servings.
