Emma Harvey'S Chocolate Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
4 level tsp. soda
1 level tsp. cloves
1 level tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 Tbsp. cocoa, mixed with brewed coffee (enough to make a paste)
2 level tsp. salt
3 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 c. salad oil
1 c. ground nuts

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients; add cocoa.
Mix applesauce, oil and nuts.
Stir well.
Bake in 10 x 13-inch aluminum foil lined pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
