My Home State Maryland Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
1/2 c. Crisco or oleo
1/3 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 c. bread crumbs
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 c. hot water
1 large onion, sliced (optional)
Preparation

Dip chicken in flour, then in beaten egg, then in milk, then bread crumbs.
Coat well.
Brown well on both sides in Crisco or oleo, then add the poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, onion and water.
Simmer until well done.
