Country Grits And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. quick grits, uncooked
    4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    2 lb. mild sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
    4 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Bring water and salt to boil.
    Add grits and return to boil. Reduce heat.
    Cook 4 minutes.
    Melt in cheese.
