Gourmet Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raw rice
6 pork chops (with fat removed)
1 tsp. salt
6 onion slices
6 tomato slices
6 green pepper slices
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. thyme
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can consomme
1 can water
Preparation

Pour rice into flat baking dish.
Brown pork chops in skillet.
Place in baking dish on top of rice.
Salt lightly. Place on top of each pork chop in stacked fashion one slice each of onion, tomato and green pepper.
Sprinkle with oregano, thyme and salt.
Pour into used skillet the consomme and water.
Add this to baking dish.
Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
