German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1-1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    Dash pepper
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    6 cooked potatoes, diced or sliced
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Drain and crumble.
    Cook onion in bacon fat.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, and pepper. Add water and vinegar.
    Cook and stir until thick.
    Add potatoes, bacon and eggs.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Garnish with pimiento and/or parsley.
