Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. margarine
2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place first 3 ingredients into pan.
Cook at medium heat. When mixture boils, cover with lid for 3 minutes.
Remove lid. Stir in margarine, cook to 260\u00b0.
Stir in peanuts, continue stirring and cook to 310\u00b0.
Remove from heat, add baking soda, salt and vanilla.
Pour batch on greased baking sheet.
Let cool slightly.
Loosen from sheet, turn over and stretch as thin as possible.
