Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    2/3 c. water
    2 c. white sugar
    2 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients until mixture will string from a spoon.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks.
    Pour the cooked syrup over the beaten egg whites; beat until thick.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper to cool.
    This mixture is very hot.
